PARTNER WITH US

We need financial partners, online donations, church/business partners, resource drives, & volunteers.
1. Become a Financial Partner
The BCC operates on an efficient, relationship-driven budget, meant to keep funds directed at supporting our clients and building mutually beneficial partnerships to meet both immediate needs and their long-term causes. Our staff and operations rely solely on personal donations, church supporters, and grant/foundation money to keep our doors open. Our 2020 budget is $200,000.
Support our mission by becoming a Monthly Financial Partner:
- Individuals may give $20, $50, or any amount that works.
- Organizations may give $300, $500 per month or the amount that works.
Sponsor our Development Cohorts:
- $900 will sponsor a complete Cultivate Monday Cohort
- $3,000 will sponsor one ARC Participant for 6 months

All donations are tax deductible. Check if your employer may provide matching grants to increase the impact of your donation. Checks should be made out to Quest Church, please note that the donation is for The Bridge Care Center in the memo line. Mail to: Quest Church (Attn: The BCC),
1401 NW Leary Way, Seattle, WA 98107.

2. Purchase High Need Resources Online
Visit our High Need Amazon Wish List to shop online for hygiene items, pants and backpacks, and other in demand resources that will then get delivered directly to us. We update/re-arrange the list regularly, so the most needed items are at the top.

3. Become a Church or Business Partner
We are honored to partner with several churches and for-profit businesses who are also committed to investing in Ballard and in our Seattle neighbors who are unhoused. Contact Pastor Liz Mosbo VerHage for more information on how we might work together as mutual partners to impact the community - including how our staff could pick up items/make connections for your business, or provide trainings/speakers/events for your congregation. (Email liz@seattlequest.org)  See our current partners & funders .

4. Host a Resource Drive
A  major part of our mission is providing clothing and resources to the community through our clothing closets and outdoor gear supplies. Hosting a Resource Drive is an easy way to gather your organization, congregation, school, or friends together and help us restock supplies. We have an easy to use "How To Host a Resource Drive” packet online below - consider if you could help us restock these items:
  • backpacks, sleeping bags, blankets
  • coats, men's pants
  • unopened, travel-sized hygiene items
  • new underwear/bras

5. Volunteer
Volunteers are critically important for the BCC to operate and they form a dedicated, passionate team. No prior experience or expertise is required; new volunteers will receive orientation training and will join an amazing community of friends that make a huge difference in our community.

We need regular volunteers available for two-hour shifts, at least once per month, to help host our neighbors during drop-in hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays. We also have roles for volunteers with specific skills (i.e. grant writing, mentors, resume or job readiness skill builders, picking  up donated good, etc.) Consider recruiting friends, students, or others with flexible weekly schedules to join our gifted volunteer team!

"Jesus always saw poor people as equals, but I had to spend time talking with people at The BCC before I understood that. I've met so many smart people with fascinating stories. Thanks to The BCC for teaching me how to be more like Christ."
